can you suggest a book i would like to read?
i am looking for some good books or author to read. can you suggest anything. i like vampire stories and supernatural stuff. but i am probably the only person on the face of the planet who did NOT like twilight. it was all mush touchy feely love stuff and very little vampire action. i am not into a ton of violence but more than the very very tame twilight book would be nice.
i also like adventure, medical mystery, supernatural, humor, suspence, and stories of sci fi based real science.
not into porn or extreame gore or total fantasy other worlds sci fi
books i did like are harry potter, dresdan files, and kate harrison (dead witch walking and that) series and also charlene harris (vampire series like true blood).
can you suggest anything like that?? thanks
The Morganville Vampire Series(5 books)- Claire moves to morgganville and finds out that the town is filled with vampires. evil ones.
The House of Night Series(4 books)- zoey redbird is a new vampire. she has to move to the house of night which is a school for vampire fledglings. she finds out though, that she is different from the other fledglings there.
The Vampire Academy Series(3 books)- Rose is a vampire who is training to become a guardian for her best friend lissa, who is vampire royalty.
The Night World Series(2 books with 3 stories in each)- werevolves, vampires, shapeshifters, witches, and the like. different characters in each story are linked together to form one complicated thing known as the night world.
Vampire Kisses(5 books)- Raven is a goth girl who lives in a town where everyone is exactly like everyone else. then Alexander shows up. people begin spreading rumors about him being a vampire. raven sets out to prove them wrong.
The Host(1 book)- also written by stephenie meyer, it is about a soul named wanderer and a human named melanie. the souls invade earth and use human bodies as hosts to live in, while the mind of the human is erased. wanderer is put into melanie, but melanies mind doesnt go away.
Peeps(1 book)- cal is infected with a parasite. its what we would call being a vampire, but they call it being a peep, or a parasite positive. but, he’s only a carrier of the parasite. cal has to hunt down all the peeps.
Bliss(1 book)- set in the past, Bliss moves from a hippie commune to crestview academy, hoping to make friends. but in crestview’s past, there is a secret. bliss starts to hear a voice that speaks of power and blood. secrets from the past and secrets from the present mix together with Bliss as the key to power.

1-800-Where-R-You? Series(5 books)- Ever since jess got struck by lightning, she has the ability to find missing children if she looks at a picture of theirs.
The Mediator Series(5 books)-Suze Simon has the ability to see ghosts. when she moves from new york to calafornia after her mother gets remarried, she finds that a ghost is living in her room. suze has to help ghosts move on to the next life, but she isnt sure if she wants this one to leave.
Blue is for Magic(4 books)- i cant remember this girls name, but she has dreams that people she knows are going to die.
this is all i can think of off the top of my had. srry. hope this helps. i have read all of these and think they are all really good. a lot are about vampires. almost all of them have romance. all of them have do do with magic, vampires, special powers and things along those lines. enjoy!
