Important monuments and districts are illustrated as they appear today, while overlays indicate how these sites probably looked when first built, making this book an excellent resources for travelers, students, and anyone interested in the fascinating history of this region. The volume begins with a comprehensive tour of the Roman subterranean city known as the catacombs, and includes several labyrinthine burial grounds and underground places of worship. Wouldn’t More Lives Be Saved If Hell Was More Evident?

As a pagan and mother, I don’t believe in hellfire nor a Creator who sends his children there to be tormented (or allows them to choose unwittingly or not to go there) But many Christians believe this will be the end for the vast majority of mankind, considering that the majority of the world’s population past, present and future will not be Christian far less the “right” kind of Christian.

Christians say ignorance is no excuse, just like ignorance of the law is no excuse (never mind legal laws are provable and there is physical evidence of their enforcement). So my question is, if indeed hell exists, then shouldn’t the unbelievably cruel, IRREVERSABLE and ETERNAL, nature of it require more evidential proof to save more lives?

What parent would allow a child to swallow poison and then make the remedy a matter of subjective interpretation of symbolic instructions that can only be understood if the child is in a certain frame of mind or place?

Yes! Thank you – us agnostics are asking for something like this. We would actually prefer God to part the heavens and talk to us a la Monty Python.
